Must try these 4 types of lassi this summer to beat the scorching heat!

Lucknow: This year we are facing hottest summer ever recorded in the country. So not only drinking water will keep you calm you can also try different types of summer beverages at home. Staying hydrated is the most important factor to keep going in this sweltering heat and maintain good health. There are several kinds of healthy beverages that you can consume for fighting the scorching heat of the summer. One of the best is lassi, the cold goodness made with curd and mixed with sugar and crushed mint leaves is one of the most refreshing things to have in summers.

Lassi is popular in North India, is very much liked all over the world, it is a trend in many homes to make and drink lassi every day as soon as summer arrives. In such a situation, making and drinking the same type of lassi daily can be boring. Here we are telling you three such lassi recipes which are of different flavors and are also quite refreshing.
Must try these 3 different types of lassi recipe at home-

# pineapple lassi:


-2 cups pineapple chopped
-1 cup cold curd
-1/2 cup cold milk
-4 tablespoons sugar
-pinch of salt
-2 tsp dry coconut optional, for garnish


-First of all, heat a pan on medium heat.
-Fry the coconut till it turns golden brown. Remove from the pan and keep aside.
-Now in the same pan add pineapple pieces, half the amount of sugar and a pinch of salt.
-Cook till the sugar melts and the pineapple pieces become soft.
-As soon as the sugar starts melting, remove this mixture from the pan and cool it.
-Take a blender/mixie jar and grind this mixture with the remaining sugar, milk, curd and grind it till smooth.
-Take out the lassi in a glass and serve chilled.
-Garnish with coconut sawdust.
Cold chilled Pineapple Lassi is ready.

# Kesar-Elaichi Lassi


– 1 cup curd (homemade)
– 1/4 cup saffron water
– 2 tsp sugar
– a pinch of cardamom powder


-First of all, mix saffron in lukewarm water and keep it for a while.
-Prepare saffron water in this way.
-After this, add curd, cardamom powder and sugar in a mixing jar.
-You can either churn it by hand or you can also use a blender.
-If you are using a blender then it will be quite frothy. You can drink it easily.
-After all the things are mixed well, add saffron water to it and mix again.
-Now serve it in a glass.

#Rose Lassi


-1 cup curd
-2 tbsp rose syrup
-1 teaspoon powdered sugar
-half cup chilled water
-rose petals


– Blend all the ingredients in blender. Now refrigerate it.

-Before serving, garnish with rose petals and serve chilled.

# Mango Lassi


-1 cup curd
-2 cups mango chopped
-1 teaspoon powdered sugar
-some ice cubes
-cardamom powder


– Blend all the ingredients in blender..

-Serve cold mango lassi and garnish some tutti frutti on top.
