Nagaland: On Monday, an official said that Five members of a family were charred to death after a fire a broke out at Naharbari area of Dimapur district of Nagaland. Three three children were including in the five members of the family.

Nagaland: On Monday, an official said that Five members of a family were charred to death after a fire a broke out at Naharbari area of Dimapur district of Nagaland. Three three children were including in the five members of the family.

According to the information, official said that the incident occurred around 10:45 pm in Naharbari area of Dimapur district on Sunday. He said that the blaze ripped through rows of thatched houses inhabited by people from a non-Naga community.

After receiving information about this, several fire tenders were reached on the spot. The Fire & Emergency Services official said that Bursting of firecrackers during Diwali celebrations is likely to have triggered the blaze.

Official also said that around 50 families have been affected due to the fire, adding, six fire tenders managed to put out the flames after nearly two hours.

However, The official said that the exact cause of the fire will be known after an investigation is carried out. According to the information, the bodies of the all deceased have been handed over to police.
