Nainital Administration Bans Reels and Photography in Kainchi Dham Ahead of Festival

In a recent move, the Nainital administration has banned making reels and other forms of videography and photography at Kainchi Dham. This decision aims to manage the anticipated large crowd during the Kainchi Dham festival on June 15.

Key Restrictions
Banned Activities: Use of social media, photography, and videography are prohibited at the festival.

Emergency Measures: Devotees experiencing health issues will receive first aid and, if necessary, will be transported to higher medical centers via Heli Seva.

Administrative Preparations
Kumaon Commissioner Deepak Rawat, in a meeting with officials, discussed comprehensive preparations for the festival. Key points included:

Parking Arrangements: Facilities for parking over 1,500 vehicles, with designated areas for vehicles coming from different directions:

From Bhawali, Bhimtal, and Haldwani: Parking at Nainiband Bypass, Bhawali Maidan, and Ranikhet Road.

From Nainital, Jeolikot: Parking at Masjid Tiraha and Sanatorium Bypass, with shuttle service to Kainchi Dham.

From Garampani, Ranikhet, Almora: Parking at Garampani, with shuttle service to Paniram’s Dhaba.

Food and Beverage Distribution: Social workers and organizations distributing free food and beverages are instructed to do so in the parking areas, with food vans available to serve devotees.

Traffic and Safety Measures

SSP PN Meena announced the division of parking lots into ten zones with specific routes and barricading to ensure smooth traffic flow:

Routes for Long-Distance Travelers
Vehicles heading to Almora, Ranikhet, or plains via Haldwani will use the Ramgarh-Kwarab route.

Pithoragarh-bound vehicles will follow the Khutani-Padampuri route.

Shuttle Service: Over 100 buses and 500 small vehicles will operate shuttles from Bhawali and Garampani. Additional shuttle services will be available from Bhimtal and Haldwani if parking areas fill up.
