New Delhi: The results of four out of five assembly elections held in the country has declared yesterday. BJP has won in three of these states. The saffron party has been able to perpetuate Madhya Pradesh with a massive majority and defeated Congress in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, crossing the majority mark comfortably. In this sequence, after the assembly elections, PM will visit Sindhudurg in Maharashtra today. His arrival in Sindhudurg is scheduled for around 4:15 p.m., followed by the unveiling ceremony of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s statue at Rajkot Fort in Medha, Malvan.
According to an official statement issued by the PMO, PM Modi will unveil the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Rajkot Fort. It is noteworthy that today Navy Day will be celebrated at Sindhudurg Fort in Maharashtra. The foundation of this fort was laid in 1664 by Maratha king Shivaji Maharaj on an island in the Arabian Sea near Malvan taluka of Sindhudurg district. PM Modi is also scheduled to witness ‘Operational Demonstration by Indian Navy on Monday as December 4 marks the Navy Day in India.
According to post on X by sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra on December 4. The Prime Minister will reach Sindhudurg in Maharashtra at around 4:15 pm and will unveil the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Rajkot Fort. After this, PM will participate in the program of ‘Navy Day 2023’ celebration in Sindhudurg. The Prime Minister will also witness the ‘operational demonstration’ of Indian Naval ships, submarines, aircraft and special forces from Tarkarli Beach, Sindhudurg.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest for the Navy Day celebrations. He will unveil the 43-foot statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at the Rajkot-Malvan sea shore of Sindhudurg.

The Ministry of Defence exhibits provide an opportunity to the people to see various aspects of multi-domain operations conducted by the Indian Navy. “It highlights the Navy’s contribution towards national security to the public, while also instilling maritime awareness among the citizens,” it said.
The seal of the founder of the famous Maratha Empire inspired the new naval flag, which was adopted last year when the Prime Minister commissioned the first indigenous aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant.
Navy Day also provides people with a glimpse of the various aspects of multi-domain operations of the Indian Navy, its contribution to national security and creating maritime awareness among the public.
