NEET Issue in Parliament: Opposition will raise NEET issue in Parliament today, chances of uproar

NEET Issue in Parliament: There is resentment across the country over the alleged irregularities related to NEET-UG. Along with students and parents, opposition parties are also protesting regarding this issue. Meanwhile, in the current Parliament session, the opposition India Alliance is going to raise the issue of alleged irregularities related to the medical entrance examination NEET-UG in both the houses. In such a situation, there are chances of uproar between the ruling party and the opposition regarding the issue of NEET in the Parliament.

According to media reports, the NEET issue was discussed in detail in the meeting of India Alliance leaders on Thursday at the residence of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge. A consensus has been reached in this meeting that the opposition will put pressure to discuss the NEET paper leak. Leader of opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, NCP leaders Sharad Pawar and Supriya Sule, DMK leader Kanimozhi, Shiv Sena UBT leaders Sanjay Raut, Priyanka Chaturvedi and Arvind Sawant, AAP leaders Sanjay Singh and Sandeep Pathak and other leaders were present in this meeting.

If sources are to be believed, members of the opposition parties will discuss the NEET issue by giving adjournment notice under Rule 267 in the Rajya Sabha and in the Lok Sabha and demand a response from the Central Government. Opposition parties will also participate in the discussion starting from Friday in Parliament on the motion of thanks to the President’s address. Apart from this, the opposition can also raise issues like inflation and ‘Agneepath’ scheme in the Parliament.
