New Delhi: After the controversy over NEET-UG Exam 2024, the government had handed over the investigation to CBI. Students are continuously protesting in this matter. At the same time, now CBI has come into action mode regarding NEET Exam Case. CBI has registered an FIR regarding alleged irregularities in NEET-UG. This information has been revealed by quoting officials. At the same time, the accused arrested by the states will also be taken into custody.

A day before this, the Center had announced that the investigation into the alleged irregularities in the test will be handed over to the agency. Officials said that the CBI has registered a new case against unknown people on the complaint of the Union Ministry of Education. . About 24 lakh students have appeared for the medical entrance examination.

He said the ministry had to accept the demands of students protesting in several cities demanding an investigation into alleged misconduct. Some cases of alleged irregularities, cheating, impersonation and malpractices have come to light in the NEET-UG examination held on May 5, a senior education ministry official said.

After a review for transparency in the conduct of the examination process, it was decided to hand over the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for a comprehensive investigation, the official said.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Sunday is sending teams to Bihar and Gujarat to investigate a “larger conspiracy” in the Undergraduate National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2024 exam. According to information received from sources, the Union Education Ministry has admitted that there were irregularities, cheating, impersonation and other malpractices in the May 5 examination.
