Police said that the woman has been identified as Vaishali Masood. This was not the first time of the accused that he had asked for money for liquor. He used to frequently borrow from the woman and her son for liquor earlier also. On Wednesday too, he reached the woman’s house to demand money. But when the woman refused to give him the money, he angrily attacked the woman with a knife, which killed the woman on the spot.
Angered, he allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed her multiple times, killing her on the spot.
