Pushpa Kamal Dahal : Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ will be on a three-day visit to India from Sunday. During this time he will also take part in the swearing-in ceremony of Narendra Modi. According to reports, his visit to India was approved in the meeting of the Council of Ministers chaired by Prime Minister ‘Prachanda’.
Government spokesperson and Communications and Information Technology Minister Rekha Sharma told the media after the Cabinet meeting on Thursday that ‘Prachanda’ will leave for New Delhi on Sunday to attend Modi’s swearing-in ceremony. Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Narendra Modi will take oath as Prime Minister for the third time on Sunday.
India has also invited Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Maldives President Mohammed Muizzu, Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth and Seychelles President Wavell Ramkalawan to attend Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony.
Prime Minister ‘Prachanda’ will return to Nepal on Tuesday. Earlier, after assuming the post of Prime Minister for the third time, ‘Prachanda’ had made an official visit to India from October 4 to 7, 2023.
