NIA Raid: Big action on the nexus of terrorists-drug smugglers, NIA raids on many locations in 4 states including Delhi-Punjab

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken major action against gangsters. On Tuesday, the NIA raided many places in many states across the country. The raids were conducted to break the nexus between terrorists, gangsters and drug smugglers based in India and abroad.

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken major action against gangsters. On Tuesday, the NIA raided many places in many states across the country. The raids were conducted to break the nexus between terrorists, gangsters and drug smugglers based in India and abroad.

NIA has conducted these raids at more than 40 locations in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. This action has been taken on the bases of people associated with many gangs including Lawrence Bishnoi, Neeraj Bawana.

According to the NIA, no one has been taken into custody in this case so far. In the last nine months, security forces have witnessed the illegal entry of 191 drones into Indian territory from neighboring Pakistan, raising major concerns in terms of internal security in the country. It is believed that the terrorists are conspiring in the country with drug smugglers, against which the NIA has taken this action.

NIA has raided the whereabouts of gangster Naresh Sethi in Jhajjar. At 4 in the morning, the NIA team reached the residence of Naresh Sethi along with the local police. Sethi’s illegal assets and bank details are being searched. Family members are also being questioned. Gangster Sethi has been involved in many other serious cases including murder, ransom. He is currently lodged in Tihar Jail.

Earlier on September 12, NIA had raided more than 50 locations in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Delhi-NCR. On August 26 this year, Delhi Police had registered two cases. In these cases, the NIA conducted these raids after taking over the investigation. Some gangsters based in India and abroad are carrying out terrorist and criminal activities in the country. A case was registered after identifying such gangsters.

The NIA investigation also revealed that several criminal incidents took place in the country, which were a deep conspiracy between terrorists, gangsters and drug smuggling gangs and networks, operating both from within and outside the country.
