Sahil Gehlot, accused in the Nikki Yadav murder case, was sent to judicial custody for 12 days after seven days of police custody by the Dwarka court on Wednesday. Sahil Gehlot is accused of brutally killing his wife and live-in partner Nikki Yadav and keeping her dead body in a fridge at his dhaba.

New Delhi: Delhi’s Dwarka Court on Wednesday (February 22) sent Sahil Gehlot to judicial custody for 12 days after seven days of police custody in Delhi’s Nikki Yadav murder case. He was produced in the court after police custody. Sahil was arrested on February 14 in the Nikki Yadav murder case.

Sahil Gehlot’s father has no remorse for the murder
At the same time, new revelations are happening everyday during the remand of the crime branch. According to Delhi Police sources, Sahil’s father Virendra Gehlot, who is in jail, has no remorse, he has no remorse for this murder. At the same time, during interrogation, Sahil told that when he and Nikki had left in the car before the murder, he made such a plan that it would not be a murder but a road accident.

According to Sahil’s plan, Nikki should be pushed out of the car and it will appear as if she has died in a road accident. When this could not happen, Sahil executed the murder incident at Nigambodh Ghat. After Sahil’s arrest, Delhi Police has arrested Sahil’s father, cousin and friends.

Nikki threatened to share the marriage certificate
According to sources, the accused Sahil Gehlot told the police that Nikki had threatened to share the certificate of their marriage, which took place at the Arya Samaj temple, with social media and the family of the woman Gehlot was about to marry.

Actually, Sahil and Nikki married each other in October 2020 at an Arya Samaj temple in Greater Noida but they did not register their marriage. According to sources, Sahil revealed that Nikki had the marriage certificate that was given by the Arya Samaj temple.

When Nikki learns about Sahil marrying another woman, she threatens to put the marriage certificate on social media and give it to the family of the woman he is about to marry.

Sahil Gehlot is accused of killing his first wife Nikki Yadav, keeping her body in a fridge and then marrying another woman the same day. Nikki Yadav’s body was found on 14 February 2023 in the fridge of Gehlot’s dhaba in Mitraon village of Delhi.
