New Delhi: In Innovation Index, Karnataka has a steady for the third consecutive time. In the third innovation index (innovation index) of the Policy Commission, Karnataka has been in the first place. In this, the second place has received Telangana and third Haryana. Deputy Chairman of the Policy Commission Suman Berry has released this innovation index on Thursday in the presence of Chief Executive Officer, Aiyar. According to the Policy Commission, this innovation index has been prepared on the lines of the Global Innovation Index.
Let us tell you that the first and second innovation index were released in October 2019 and January 2021 respectively. According to the official statement of the Policy Commission, the third version of the Innovation Index is based on the framework of the Global Innovation Index and it strengthens the scope of innovation analysis.
In his official statement issued on the Innovation Index on behalf of the Policy Commission, the Innovation Index has been prepared on the basis of 66 unique indicators, while the last two innovation index was prepared on the basis of indicators. During the preparation of the Innovation Index, the States and Union Territories were divided into 17 major states, 10 North East and mountainous states and 9 union territories and urban states.
