Patna: The rift between Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and poll strategist Prashant Kishor refuses to calm down. Nitish claimed that Kishor had advised him to merge the JD(U) and the Congress a few years ago.

When questioned about any post offered to Prashant Kishor recently, Nitish Kumar said, “Aisa kuch nahi hain. Unki jo marzi hain bolte rahe. (No, such things have not taken place. Allow him to say whatever he wants). Ab kya hum bole? ” What can I say?

On Thursday, Prashant Kishor sharpened his attack against the Bihar CM and said he would never work with Nitish Kumar even if he offered him the CM’s chair.

At a huge gathering at Jamunia village in West Champaran district amidst his ongoing 3,500-km-long ‘Jan Suraaj’ padyatra, Kishor said, “I had a meeting with Nitish Kumar a few days ago. He advised me to re-join the JD(U) because “you are my political heir,” he said, before withdrawing from my campaign.

Prashant Kishor was appointed national vice president of the JD(U) in 2018. But later, he was expelled from the party because Nitish and Kishor were not on the same platform on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
