‘No entry’ for Women and Girls in Darul Uloom Deoband Campus

Mohtamim Maulana Mufti Abul Qasim Nomani of the seminary said that many people from across the country filed complaints about the "reels" that were shot inside the seminary and went viral on social media.

‘No entry’ for Women and Girls in Darul Uloom Deoband Campus

Islamic Seminary Darul Uloom Deoband of Saharanpur District of Entry of women and girls is banned. Mohtamim Maulana Mufti Abul Qasim Nomani of the seminary said that many people from across the country filed complaints about the “reels” shot inside the seminary and made viral on social media. Mohtamim said that taking cognizance of these complaints, entry of women and girls has been banned in the seminary premises.

Mohtamim said that entry of women and girls was already banned in Rashidiya Mosque, which has now been implemented in the entire complex. Mohtamim said guards have been instructed to inform women and girls about the ban and persuade them to return.

He said that a large number of women used to come to the madrassa and many of them were busy making videos and after that they would make these reels viral on social media. Due to which the image of the Madrasa was also getting tarnished. Darul Uloom is a school and such actions are not acceptable in any school. Not only this, a new session of education has started in Darul Uloom. Due to overcrowding, students’ studies were also getting affected. Students have also complained about this many times. Women often went there to see the beauty of Darul Uloom Library and other buildings.
