Noida Police files 1,200-page chargesheet against YouTuber Elvish Yadav among seven others in Snake Venom Case

Noida: Noida Police has filed 1,200-page chargesheet against YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav and seven others in the snake venom-rave party case in the Surajpur court. In the charge sheet, statements of 24 witnesses were also recorded.

Noida: Noida Police has filed 1,200-page chargesheet against YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav and seven others in the snake venom-rave party case in the Surajpur court.

Evidence of all the allegations, from smuggling of snakes and snake venom to organizing rave parties, have been provided in this charge sheet. In the charge sheet, statements of 24 witnesses were also recorded.

YouTuber Elvish Yadav was arrested on March 17 for providing snake venom at a suspected rave party in Noida. He was later produced in court and sent to 14-day judicial custody. The accused was involved in the illegal trade of buying and selling snakes.

Noida Police is collecting information about the cases registered across the country including Noida and Gurugram. The report confirming snake venom from Jaipur lab has also been included in the charge sheet. Videos, call details and other electronic evidence related to the snake venom case have been made the basis.

Evidence related to the sections of NDPS Act imposed on Elvish Yadav has been put in the charge sheet. An FIR was registered against Elvish Yadav in November last year and eight people including 5 snake charmers were arrested in the case. Recently, three people including Elvish Yadav have also been arrested.

Last year, on the complaint of the People for Animals (PFA) organization, Noida Police raided a banquet hall in Sector 51 and arrested five people. Elvish Yadav was among six people named in an FIR lodged at Noida’s Sector 49 Police Station on November 3 last year. PFA had named Elvish in its FIR and accused him of organizing rave parties, in which they call foreigners and arrange poisonous snakes.

Let us tell you that during the raid, nine poisonous snakes were recovered. Removing the poisonous glands of a snake is a punishable offence under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act and the guilty can be jailed for seven years. Siddharth Yadav aka Elvish Yadav is a popular YouTuber from Gurugram. Apart from winning Bigg Boss OTT 2, he is also known for his music videos and is quite popular among the youth.
