New Delhi. Nokia has recently launched a new mid range smartphone in Kenya. The new handset is the Nokia X20, which will be available in two storage variants in the region but will come without a charger. The Finnish smartphone maker was reported to not be shipping the smartphone with the charger in certain markets like Europe.

Further, it was also said that the move is to reduce electronic waste as many users already have chargers at home. Talking about the specs of the device, the Nokia X20 sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 32-megapixel punch ole selfie camera on the front.

At the back, the handset sports a 64-megapixel triple camera setup with a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card slot. It has a 4,470mAh battery. Which supports 18W charging via USB Type C port.

The Nokia X20 out-of-the-box runs Android 11 OS and has a 3.5mm headphone jack, has 5G support, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and more. The device will be available in Kenya at a starting price of 40,000 KES (approximately Rs 27,143) and will also be available through local stores.
