North Korea launched ICBM on Thursday
Earlier on Thursday, North Korea launched the Hwasong-17 intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM). Explain that it was decided to launch the missile in response to the ongoing US-South Korea military exercise. Within a week, North Korea launched three ballistic missiles.
South Korean and US military on Monday began their 11-day joint exercise, named “Freedom Shield 23”, to counter the growing threats from North Korea. This joint military exercise will continue till 23 March.
