The minimum temperature has been above 32 degrees for two days, which is five degrees above normal. In many cities the maximum temperature continues to remain above 44 degrees. In such a situation, people are eagerly waiting for the monsoon, so that they can get relief from this scorching heat.

On Saturday, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 44.6 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, Pitampura area of ​​Delhi was the hottest, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 46.9 degrees, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 34.1 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of severe heat wave from June 16 to 18. However, the relief news is that thunderstorms and drizzle are expected in Delhi-NCR areas on June 20. Due to which the maximum temperature will be 42 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 33 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, right now the monsoon is weak for Delhi and it will gain momentum in a day or two. In such a situation, there is a possibility of monsoon hitting Delhi by the end of June itself.

On the other hand, the weather is going to be dry in most parts of Uttar Pradesh on June 16. During this period, a red alert has been issued for heat wave in most parts and hot night in some areas. During this period, winds are likely to blow at a speed of 25 to 35 km per hour. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh on June 17 and 18. There may be rain in all parts of the state from June 21.
