Odisha Train Accident: Union Health Minister to visit AIIMS Bhubaneswar today

Balasore: PM Narendra Modi arrived on Saturday (June 3) to inspect the scene of the Odisha train accident. During this, he also met the victims in the hospital. The PM was also seen talking to someone on the phone at the spot. The PM had called Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and Cabinet Secretary regarding better arrangements. So far 288 people have died in this accident and hundreds of people are undergoing treatment.

According to sources, Mansukh Mandaviya may visit AIIMS Bhubaneswar and Medical College in Cuttack today i.e. Sunday (June 4) to take stock of the medical assistance being provided to the injured in the Odisha train accident. Officials said that the PM called them and asked them to ensure that all possible help is provided to the injured and their families. There should not be any inconvenience to the bereaved families and the affected should continue to get necessary help.

Strict action will be taken against those found guilty

PM Modi also talked about action against those found guilty for the accident. He said that strict action will be taken against those found guilty for the train accident, no one will be spared. PM Modi said that we will provide better treatment to the injured of this horrific train accident. He also thanked the local people, many of whom worked through the night, for helping to rescue people.

The PM said that I am grateful to the local people for all the help given to the train accident victims. I have no words to express my pain. May God give us the strength to overcome this situation. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan were also present with the Prime Minister. Along with the PM, the officials of the disaster management team also informed the two Union ministers about the situation.
