Bengaluru: A video capturing a disturbing incident of sexual assault at Bengaluru’s Lulu Mall is circulating on social media, prompting swift action from the local authorities. In the video, an elderly man is seen deliberately touching the back of a young woman in a crowded game zone of the mall. The incident happened on Sunday (October 29).
After the harassing act, the man moves to another location within the mall, while the victim does not initially react to the abuse. The video was originally shared on an Instagram account, which is rapidly gaining popularity across various social media platforms.
However, the woman did not react to the abuse perhaps because the man had bumped into her without her knowledge or because of the crowd. He immediately walks away as seen in the video, recorded by a person present in the gaming area. The camera then follows the man and shows him moving around the gaming section with hands in his pockets.
Explaining the circumstances of the recording, the uploader identified the incident as occurring at the famous Lulu Mall. As quoted in the caption, he said that he recorded the incident at around 6:30 in the evening. Lulu Mall in Funtura Bengaluru.

The man who recorded the clip also approached the security guards at the mall and informed them about the same. However, the man had disappeared by then.
After this heinous act goes viral, the jurisdictional Magadi Road Police has commenced a preliminary investigation, taking the matter seriously and beginning its efforts to address this disturbing incident.
