Bhopal: A Madhya Pradesh couple from Khandwa district reportedly faces a violent clash at a local supermarket after a minor accident on Thursday. In a video that has gone viral on social media, the man and his wife can be seen forced to apologise by touching the feet of one of the accused. The incident was captured on CCTV which showed a man hitting the couple while staff members tried to handle the situation.
According to sources, one of the accused intentionally followed the couple to the supermarket after they met with a minor accident. The woman, a renowned professor in the city, stated that an altercation arose between her husband and one of the accused individuals, who then followed couple to the supermarket and physically assaulted them.

During a massive dispute, the couple was forced to apologise. The woman was even forced to touch the feet of one of the accused ‘to save her husband’. The victims recounted their attempts to seek help from the police, but their complaint was reportedly declined on the grounds of the absence of a female officer. The man stated, “If they don’t file a case, we will approach Prime Minister Modi and present the case.”
Earlier, a similar incident happened in Haryana where a couple from Sonipat was assaulted by a group of drunk men after a road rage incident. The incident was captured on CCTV, showing a group of men attacking the husband while his wife attempted to intervene. The local police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
