The FAME-2 Electric Vehicle Subsidy will be applicable on the scooter, after which the ex-showroom price of the scooter will be less than Rs 1 lakh. The company has started booking the Ola S1 e-scooter for Rs 499. The scooter can be booked from the official website of Ola Electric.
After booking, the scooter can be purchased from September 2. The company will start home delivery of scooters from September 7. The company is providing scooters to those who buy scooters on loan at an EMI of only Rs 2,999 per month.
In terms of design, the Ola S1 looks very similar to the S1 Pro and is based on this platform. The Ola S1 has the same sleek looking body as the S1 Pro. Apart from this, the electric scooter will be available for sale in five colors – Jet Black, Liquid Silver, Porcelain White, Coral Glam and Neo Mint.
According to the Company, On full charge, this scooter will get a backup of 90 km in sports range, 101 km in normal mode, 128 km in eco mode and 131 km in ARAI range. Its top speed will be up to 95 km, which will be the highest in the two wheeler segment of the electric vehicle. This scooter can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
Ola has also introduced the S1 Pro in a new color with the launch of the S1. The company has launched the S1 Pro e-scooter in a new Khaki colour. Getting into the features and tech on the scooter, it is all the same as the Ola S1 Pro. It gets features like Bluetooth connectivity, a navigation system, and more. In addition, it gets the same Move OS software which can be updated to the Move OS 3, which the electric vehicle manufacturer has promised to launch on Diwali. Moreover, they also promised to launch more hyper chargers for faster charging of the scooters.
