The first batch of 360 Indians from trouble-torn Sudan reached New Delhi on Wednesday evening under ‘Operation Kaveri’. ‘Operation Kaveri’ is a rescue operation launched by the government to evacuate stranded Indian citizens from Sudan. Let us tell that there is a war-like situation between the army and the paramilitary forces in Sudan. The two factions in Sudan on Monday agreed to a 72-hour ceasefire mediated by the US and Saudi Arabia. After which all the countries are engaged in evacuating their citizens safely.
Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan had flagged off this batch at Jeddah Airport for Delhi. In the video, the Minister of State for External Affairs is saying that PM Modi has resolved to bring back every Indian. The Indian citizen said that we cannot express our gratitude towards Modi ji. We don’t have words.
