Lucknow: Both the Chinese smartphone giants -Oppo and Vivo- have launched their new budget smartphones in market. Oppo A54 and Vivo Y30G are two advanced technological smart pieces that have been launched on Tuesday in Indonesia and China respectively.

Sporting 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage, Oppo A54 is priced at IDR 2,699,000 which translates to roughly ₹13,700. Oppo A54 comes in two colour options of Crystal Black and Starry Blue.
In terms of design, Oppo A54 features a punch-hole display, and a gradient finish. The rear cameras are stacked in a square-shaped module on the top right corner of the phone. It also features a 6.51-inch LCD HD+ display with a punch-hole camera on the left corner.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P35 processor and comes with a microSD card slot for expandable storage up to 256GB.
In the photography department, Oppo A54 features a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It has a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies.
On the software front, Oppo A54 runs Android 10-based ColorOS 7.2. It also comes with IPX4 rating for water resistance. The smartphone is fueled by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Wi-Fi. Oppo A54 also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The new Oppo A54 is going on sale in Indonesia on April 1. There’s no word on when Oppo will launch this phone in other markets.
The Vivo Y30G is powered by the MediaTek Helio P65 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and dual rear cameras. It sports a notched display, and comes in three colour options of Obsidian Black, Dawn White, and Aqua Blue and is priced CNY 1,499 which translates to roughly ₹16,700.
In terms of specs, Vivo Y30G features a 6.51-inch LCD HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It comes with 128GB of internal storage, and supports expandable storage up to 1TB via a microSD card. It also comes with Multi-Turbo 5.0 and Game Box 9.0 for enhanced gaming performance.
In the photography department, Vivo Y30G features a dual-camera setup at the rear featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.
Vivo Y30G packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The smartphone is claimed to charge to 68% in one hour.
On the software front, it runs Android 11 with OriginOS 1.0 layered on top. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a micro-USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well. The smartphone comes in only one RAM and storage combination.
It is currently limited to China and there’s no word on when the Vivo Y30G will launch in other parts of the world.
