Over financial crisis, Nagpur businessman, 58, set fire with family inside the car, dies

Nagpur: In yet another heart-wrenching incident came into light from Maharashtra, In Nagpur, Maharashtra, a 63-year-old businessman set himself and his family on fire by spraying petrol inside the car. In this incident, the businessman was burnt to death while the wife and son somehow managed to save themselves. The deceased has been identified as Ramraj Bhatt. According to the information, due to the Corona epidemic, his business was going slow, due to which he was upset. Because of this, he took this dreadful step.

Giving information, the police said that the incident took place in the afternoon in Khapri Rehab area of ​​Beltarodi police station area. The deceased has been identified as Ramraj Gopalkrishna Bhat (58), a resident of Jaitala. His wife Sangeeta Bhat (55) and son Nandan (30) suffered serious burns and were admitted to the hospital, he said.

Wife and son were unknown to the real motive of the man
A police officer said that a suicide note has been recovered from the house of the 58-year-old man in which he has purportedly said that he is ending his life due to financial crunch. Police said Ramraj Bhat did not know his real motive to his wife and son. He made her sit in the car on the pretext of going to a hotel for lunch.

After reaching Khapri rehab, Ramraj suddenly poured petrol on himself, wife and son. Before the mother and son could understand anything, the man set himself on fire and set both of them on fire. Police said the mother-son duo quickly opened the doors of the car and somehow doused the fire, but Ramraj Bhat was burnt to death in the vehicle.
