An exchange of fire broke out between security forces and terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, in which two terrorists were killed. ISPR said that two soldiers were also martyred during this firing. He said that both the jawans had fought strongly against the terrorists.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Two Pakistani soldiers have been killed in a gunfight with terrorists in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan.
Sources quoted the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) as saying that two Pakistani Army soldiers were killed during a gunfight with terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu district. Apart from this, two terrorists have also been killed in retaliation.
Two terrorists killed in encounter
According to the information, there was a shootout between security forces and terrorists on Saturday, in which two terrorists were killed. The ISPR said that during the exchange of fire, Ghulam Murtaza and constable Muhammad Anwar fought the terrorists firmly, but both were killed by bullet injuries.
Operation against terrorists
The media wing of the army said that the operation is being carried out against the terrorists present in the area. The army issued a press release saying that the security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
According to sources, a day earlier ISPR said that two terrorists were killed by security forces during an encounter in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The encounter took place between terrorists and security forces in Dosali area of North Waziristan district. The ISPR said the security forces effectively retaliated to the firing of the terrorists, resulting in the killing of two terrorists.
Apart from this, Pakistani security forces had killed two terrorists in an intelligence operation in North Waziristan district three days ago. The ISPR said that during the conduct of the operation, there was an exchange of fire between the security forces and the terrorists, in which two terrorists were killed. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the slain terrorists.
