The blast took place when the Quetta-bound Jafar Express was passing through the Chichavatni railway station. This train was coming from Peshawar.
According to sources, the blast took place in bogie number six of Jaffar Express, which is an economy class. Due to its grip, 2 people died and many others were injured. According to sources, the injured have been admitted to the local hospital.
