Pakistan Politics : Imran’s troubles in Pakistan are showing no sign of stopping. Pakistan’s Capital Development Authority on Thursday sealed the Central Secretariat of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the capital Islamabad and demolished a part of it. Officials have said that action will be taken against the party office due to illegal construction. During this time, party leader Aamir Mughal has been arrested.
This action was taken on alleged violation of building rules. The party founded by former PM Imran Khan has criticized this action. As soon as the news of sealing of the headquarters was received, PTI leaders including party president Barrister Gauhar Ali reached the spot.
According to reports, the CDA said in a statement that its anti-encroachment team conducted a drive on Thursday to remove illegal constructions and encroachments. The operation began at around 11.30 pm (local time) and ended within an hour.
