Pakistan: Taliban militants kill 4 police officers, 6 injured in terrorist attack on police station

Pakistan: Taliban terrorists targeted a police vehicle with a roadside bomb in North-West Pakistan on Thursday morning (Bomb Attack In Pakistan). During this, four police officers were killed and six officers were injured. This information has been given by the police.

An attack on a police station was carried out in Lakki Marwat, a town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on the border of Afghanistan. A police vehicle sent to respond to the attack was bombed, killing 4 officers. At the same time, 6 officers were injured in the attack on the police station.

Local police officer Ashfaq Khan said that the search is on for terrorist suspects who attacked the police station in Lakki Marwat and targeted a police vehicle with a bomb. A group known as Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan or TTP (Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan) is separate but affiliated with the Taliban of Afghanistan.

The number of attacks in Pakistan has increased since the Pakistani Taliban ended the ceasefire with the government of Pakistan. The TTP has gained momentum since the Afghan Taliban seized power in Afghanistan in 2021.

Many TTP leaders and fighters have found refuge in Afghanistan since the Taliban takeover. Pakistan has seen numerous terrorist attacks over the past two decades, but there has been an uptick since November.
