Yogi Adityanath visited Darbhanga in Bihar few day back to participate in a programme to celebrate the three years of Narendra Modi government.

It was his first visit to Bihar after becoming the CM of UP. While there is no denying the fact that he has still plenty to prove as an administrator, his speech in Darbhanaga clearly depicted that BJP has decided to use his personality in order to break the Mahagathbandhan.

In last assembly polls, BJP had received a shock defeat. BJP aims to reverse the shock in Bihar Assembly election 2020.

Sending Yogi Adityanath to Bihar, when he is yet to effect any sort of modification in UP seems like a well-thought out strategy.

Furthermore, with Bihar emerging as the epic centre of the proposed Grand Alliance of all Opposition parties for the 2019 General Election, it is certainly thinking beyond conventional route .

While addressing the event in Darbhanga from behind a bullet-proof shield, UP CM didn’t shy away from making his objectives clear.

Apart from ensuring the formation of a BJP government in the state, he also criticized RJD chief Lalu Yadav.

On an interesting note, Nitish Kumar advised Yogi not to visit the state “empty handed”.

With Yogi Adityanath being quite popular in north Bihar, much like he is in eastern Uttar Pradesh, he can give BJP a real impetus.

North Bihar hosts Sitamarhi, the birthplace of Goddess Sita. And Yogi has already announced he is trying to connect eastern Uttar Pradesh with Bihar and Sitamarhi with Ayodhya in UP.

Union road minister Nitin Gadkari has already given a go ahead to the Sitamarhi-Ayodhya road. Coupled with BJP’s longstanding plan to construct a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the Sitamarhi-Ayodhya road, can turn out to be quite pivotal for the BJP in Bihar.

However, to make a mark in Bihar, Yogi needs to visit Bihar on a regular basis.
