The Air India B787-800 aircraft VT-AND operating flight AI143 (Delhi-Paris) was involved in air turnback due to slats drive snag message.
According to the information, flight number AI 143 took off for Paris from Delhi airport at around 1:28 pm. It was just a while before the departure of the flight that at about 2:03 some fault was detected in it. The pilot informed the air traffic controller at Delhi airport about this. After this it was decided to bring the plane back to Delhi airport.
The plane made an emergency landing back at around 2:25 pm. During this, fire department, health aircraft and other rescue teams were present on the spot. The aircraft was landed back after the runway was cleared. What was wrong with the plane flying in the air is being ascertained. It is being told that a slight tremor was felt in it. This whole matter is being investigated.
