Today is the 7th day of the second phase of the budget session of the Parliament. The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm today after opposition MPs shouted slogans in the Lok Sabha demanding a JPC probe into the Adani Group matter.

In connection with Rahul Gandhi’s statement in London and the opposition’s demand for a JPC in the Adani case, the House has not been able to function smoothly for a single day so far in the second phase.

Earlier on Monday also, due to uproar, the proceedings of the House were adjourned for the whole day. However, amidst sloganeering, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha went on for some time. Earlier on March 13, the session of the second phase of the budget started. The House remained almost adjourned till Friday. Opposition demands JPC on Adani-Hindangarb case. At the same time, the government created a ruckus demanding an apology on Rahul Gandhi’s statement.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi once again wrote a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker on Monday. He wrote a letter seeking permission to speak in the House. In his letter, he wrote that he should be given a chance to speak in the House regarding his statement made in Britain. Earlier, Rahul Gandhi had said in a press conference that he wants to speak in the House.

Let us tell you that on the statements made by Rahul in London, BJP is constantly demanding an apology from him. On this, Rahul has said in front of the Consultative Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Parliament that he has not insulted India.
