Parliament Session 2024: The first session of the 18th Lok Sabha is starting from today i.e. 24th June. On the first day of this session, the Protem Speaker will administer oath to the new MPs. However, there is a possibility of uproar in the House over the appointment of BJP MP Bhartrihari Mahtab as the Protem Speaker of the Lok Sabha.

In fact, President Draupadi Murmu will administer the oath to BJP MP Bhartrihari Mahtab, who was first appointed to the post of Protem Speaker in the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha. After this, the Protem Speaker will first administer the oath as a member of the House to PM Narendra Modi. At the same time, BJP MP Bhartrihari Mahtab left from his residence in Delhi along with Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and other party leaders.

Meanwhile, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju said that he has met all the leaders. Just now he met DMK leaders. Everyone agrees that choosing the Protem Speaker has never been an issue in the parliamentary history of India.
