New Delhi: Delhi Police has arrested a passenger for defecating and urinating on Air India Mumbai-Delhi flight. The accused has been arrested from Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport. The accused works as a cook in Africa.
According to the FIR lodged by the flight captain at Delhi’s IGI Airport police station, on June 24, a passenger was seated on seat number 17F on Air India flight AIC 866 from Mumbai to Delhi. He defecated and urinated on the row 9 DEF seat of the flight. Along with this, there is also an allegation of spitting.
The misbehavior of the passenger was noticed by the cabin crew and then warned by the cabin supervisor, the police said. Thereafter, the flight captain was also informed about the incident.
According to the FIR registered after the incident, the cabin crew immediately informed the company about the incident, whereupon the airport security staff was requested to escort the passenger after his arrival.
The complaint states that the fellow passengers were incensed and angry at the misbehavior. As soon as the flight landed at the Delhi airport, Air India security personnel caught the accused passenger and took him to the IGI Airport police station. passenger got bail
A senior Delhi Police officer said that on the complaint of the flight captain, Delhi Police registered a case under section 294/510 at IGI Police Station and arrested the accused passenger. He was produced in the court and then got bail. Further investigation is going on in the matter.
