SRK’s Pathaan is ruling the box office and performing beyond expectations.

The Shah Rukh Khan-starring film’s Hindi release brought in 37.5 crore net in India on Friday, a 45 percent decrease from the previous day, which was a national holiday because of Republic Day. Nevertheless, despite this reduction, Pathaan’s overall domestic take in its first three days is still between 160 and 161 crore net.

Shah Rukh’s Pathaan is not only breaking domestic box office records but also breaking international ones. Pathaan is apparently on track to surpass the highest-grossing Indian film ever made around the globe in its original format or in a single language after earning 106 crore globally on its opening day, according to a recent report. As per production banner Yash Raj Films, Pathaan made Rs 200 crore in its first two days of release.

Pathaan is on the verge of leaving Dangal behind. “Dangal’s earnings touched Rs 702 crore gross worldwide, while Baahubali 2 did Rs 800 crore in overseas business and just took a minimum of Rs 400 crore net in India.” “It seems Pathaan has been cruising nicely to surpass Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,” said a new Box Office India report.

The box office revival got underway with the release of Pathaan. The movie has once again enticed film lovers to watch films in theatres. It seems several other movies will perform better in 2023 in the context of the previous couple of years.
