Patna: Police lathi-charge students protesting against state govt over BSSC CGL paper leak

The Bihar Staff Selection Commission or BSSC CGL Paper 3 was allegedly leaked just before the exam to be held on 23 and 24 December 2022. The pictures of the paper leak went viral on social media and many people demanded the commission to cancel all shift exams of BSSC saying that this lapse in the exam is playing with the future of the students.

Patna/Bihar: In connection with the paper leak of BSSC CGL 3 Exam 2022 organized by Bihar Staff Selection Commission, today students protested in Patna and Bihar Police lathi-charged the students. These students were demonstrating against the Bihar government, when there was a clash between the students and the police, after which the Bihar police lathi-charged the students. After this lathi charge on the students, all the opposition parties are fiercely criticizing the Nitish government.

According to sources, the massive protest has been take out by the BSSC aspirants. The police lathi charge Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) aspirants at Dak Bungalow Crossing. Students are protesting against the question paper leak against the Bihar governmemnt. The paper leak happened last year in December 2022. Nitish Kumar even said that the investigation has been going on while the BJP has called for a CBI investigation. Videos of the protests against BSSC CGL paper leak has been going viral over the internet.

Ever since the paper of the first shift exam was leaked, the students have been continuously demanding cancellation of the three shift exams. The students have also claimed rigging in the examinations of all the three shifts. Around 9 lakh candidates have appeared in this recruitment exam. Candidates say that the exam should be canceled and conducted immediately so that everyone can get a second chance.
