Petrol-Diesel became cheaper across the country, know the city-wise rates

New Delhi: Oil companies have released the prices of petrol and diesel on August 24. Today the prices of petrol and diesel have been registered in the Indian market.

The prices of petrol and diesel have been registered today i.e. on Tuesday. Oil companies have cut the price of both the fuels by 15-15 paise per liter. This is the second time in the last 38 days that the price of petrol has come down. However, petrol did not become expensive even once during this period. That is, the price of petrol has not increased even once in the last 38 days.

At the same time, diesel prices have been reduced for the 5th time in a week. Now the price of petrol in Delhi has come down to Rs 101.49 and that of diesel to Rs 88.92 per liter.

According to the information, international crude oil prices are at their lowest level since May. This is the reason that the prices of petrol and diesel in the country are also coming down after being stable for a long time. Diesel prices have come down five times since August 18. In which 4 times the prices have been cut by 20 paise per liter and in the 5th time the reduction has been reduced by 15 paise per liter.

Petrol prices were reduced for the first time on Sunday after remaining stable for 36 days. A drop of 20 paise per liter was recorded on that day. After that today petrol has become cheaper by 15 paise per liter. Explain that India meets 85 percent of its oil requirement through imports.

When was the last time the price increased?

There was no change in vehicle fuel prices during the entire monsoon session of Parliament. Earlier on July 17, petrol and diesel prices were increased. Petrol prices were increased by Rs 11.44 per liter and diesel by Rs 9.14 per liter from May 4 to July 17. Due to this increase, petrol had crossed Rs 100 per liter in more than half of the states of the country.
