New Delhi: The United States drug maker, Pfizer, reportedly offered Government of India its Covid-19 vaccine for vaccination program in the country at a ‘not-for-profit’ price amid the global Coronavirus scare. The company in an official announcement asserted that it is committed to work with the government to ensure the availability of the vaccine across the country.

The company also said that it would supply the Pfizer-bayonet COVID-19 mRNA vaccine only through a government contract in India.

A Pfizer spokesperson said that the company is fully committed to continuing working with the government by providing Pfizer and bioentech vaccines for use in the government’s vaccination program in the country. The company will give vaccine only to the government

The statement from the company also alleged that Pfizer will give full support to the government in its vaccination program, as stated earlier. And that the company will provide its COVID-19 vaccine only through government contracts.
