New Delhi: At least 16 people died in a fire in a clothing factory in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The building was used as a warehouse and housing for workers for a T-shirt printing business.

New Delhi: At least 16 people died in a fire in a clothing factory in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The building was used as a warehouse and housing for workers for a T-shirt printing business.

According to the information, a two-storey building was completely burnt to ashes due to fire on Thursday.

Barangay Tandang Sora district fire chief Marcelo Ragundiaz, while giving information about the incident, said that the child of a homeowner was also among those who died in the fire in Quezon City.

At least three people, including the homeowner, survived the fire, according to report. According to report, this fire broke out in the middle of the building, due to which most of the people were not able to get out of the building.

Emails to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BNF), BFP NCR Fire District 5 Quezon City, and local authorities in Quezon City did not respond to calls from media to verify other details.

According to information, the Quezon City government will investigate the incident to determine whether the landlord violated the building fire code.
