Dehradun: On their way to a school picnic, Pithoragarh’s schoolchildren on Sunday interacted with Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Students on the school bus were jubilant to see the state CM and greeted them on their joyful picnic day!
How are you all? Dhami greeted the students, and asked. The students expressed their good fortune and wished the CM well.
The CM asked “What time does your school start?” Students respond, “It’s a Sunday and picnic day!” Dhami responds with a smile, “I forgot it’s Sunday!”
Later, Dhami boarded the school bus and shared light moments with the kids and listened to them. At the end students chanted, “Bharat Mata ki Jai!”
Pushkar Singh Dhami went to a book launch event hosted by the state’s information department on Friday last week to mark the 22nd anniversary of ‘Uttarakhand Foundation Day, which is observed on November 9.
“We must lose this mindset and be ready to put in extra hours of work if needed to achieve the purpose of making a new Uttarakhand.” He said this in reference to breaking free of the 10-5 mindset and creating a new Uttarakhand.
In order to fulfil our new commitments, Dhami said, “We must endure suffering and advance.”
