PM Modi, CM Yogi, President Murmu greets the nation on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi

Today whole country is celebrating the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. PM took to twitter and extend wishes “Best wishes on Ganesh Chaturthi. May the blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ganesh always remain upon us".

New Delhi: Today whole country is celebrating the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The installation and celebrations of the idol are being organized from place to place. The atmosphere is resonant with the slogans of Ganpati Bappa Morya. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the nation on Ganesh Utsav. Giving warm wishes on Ganesh Chaturthi, he said that the blessings of Lord Ganesha be always with us all. At the same time, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also congratulated the people of the state on Ganesh Utsav.

PM MODI congratulates nation on Ganesh utsav
“Because intelligence is the destruction of ignorance for the seeker of liberation, because wealth is satisfying to the devotee. From whom obstacles are destroyed and from whom work is accomplished, we always bow and worship that Ganesha. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi. Ganpati Bappa Morya! Best wishes on Ganesh Chaturthi. May the blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ganesh always remain upon us,” PM Modi said in a tweet in Hindi.

CM Yogi gives best wishes
On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also congratulated Ganesh Chaturthi. CM Yogi tweeted, “Heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the people of the state and devotees on the holy festival ‘Shri Ganesh Chaturthi’! It is a prayer to Lord Ganesha, the obstacle, the well-wisher, to bless everyone with happiness, prosperity and health.

President Droupadi Murmu extends wishes
Additionally, President Droupadi Murmu also extended greetings on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi and prayed for peace and prosperity in the lives of the citizens.

“Hearty greetings to all the countrymen on Ganesh Chaturthi. Mangalmurti Lord Ganesha is a symbol of knowledge, accomplishment and good fortune. I wish that with the blessings of Shri Ganesh, there should be a spread of happiness, peace and prosperity in everyone`s life,” the President tweeted.

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated across the country to mark the birth of the god of wisdom who is worshipped before beginning anything new.

Also known as Ganeshotsav, this auspicious ten-day starts with Chaturthi Tithi and ends on Anantha Chaturdashi. Devotees of Lord Ganesh, the god of wisdom and good fortune, mark his birth during the Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month.

People bring Lord Ganesh idols to their homes, observe fasts, prepare mouth-watering delicacies, pray to the Lord and observe rituals during this festival. With 2022 bringing back the Ganesh Chaturthi festivities and only 2 days left for the occasion, preparations are in full swing across the nation.
