New Delhi: Saturday has been a very important day for India in the Commonwealth Games. On Saturday, India’s participants won three medals. In which Mirabai Chanu has registered a new record along with targeting in the gold medal. Along with this, Mirabai has also ended India’s gold medal drought in the Commonwealth Games. After which the process of getting their congratulations continues. In this episode, President Draupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have also congratulated him. Congratulating him, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that his success inspires many India.

Congratulating PM Narendra Modi tweeted, “The extraordinary Mirabai Chanu made India proud once again. Every Indian is happy that he won a gold medal at the Birmingham Games and set a new Commonwealth record. His success inspires many Indians, especially budding athletes.”

Mirabai Chanu’s gold creates a festive wave in the country

At the same time, President Draupadi Murmu has also congratulated Mira Bai on winning the gold medal. In a tweet of congratulations, she said, “Mirabai Chanu has created a new record by winning the gold medal in weightlifting in the Commonwealth.
