Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a series of educational projects worth Rs. 13,375 crore, showcasing the government’s commitment to advancing education in the country. The projects include the permanent campuses of IIT Bhilai, IIT Tirupati, IIT-Jammu, the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing in Kancheepuram, and the Indian Institute of Skills in Kanpur. Additionally, the inauguration covered two campuses of the Central Sanskrit University in Devprayag, Uttarakhand, and Agartala, Tripura.

PM Modi Inaugurates Educational Projects Worth Rs. 13,375. In recent developments, PM Modi also inaugurated three new Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) in Jammu, Bodh Gaya, and Visakhapatnam, along with 20 new buildings for Kendriya Vidyalayas and 13 for Navodaya Vidyalayas across the nation. The foundation stones were laid for five Kendriya Vidyalaya campuses, one Navodaya Vidyalaya campus, and five multipurpose halls for Navodaya Vidyalayas.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister launched the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Vijaypur (Samba), Jammu, marking a significant step in providing comprehensive healthcare services to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The hospital, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, was established under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana’ at a cost of over Rs. 1,660 crore.

During the event, PM Modi distributed appointment letters to approximately 1,500 newly recruited government employees in Jammu and Kashmir, interacting with beneficiaries of various schemes as part of the ‘Viksit Bharat, Viksit Jammu’ program.
