PM Modi inaugurates Sant Ravidas temple in Madhya Pradesh

The Prime Minister said that Ravidas ji would definitely give him a chance to come here again, claimed to win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in a sign, said 'this is the beginning of a new era of social harmony'

Sagar/Madhya Pradesh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today performed Bhoomi Poojan of the construction work of the grand temple and memorial of Saint Shiromani Ravidas ji, to be built at a cost of 100 crores at Bartuma in Sagar. He said that after a year and a half he would definitely come for the inauguration of this temple as well and Saint Ravidas ji is about to give him a chance to come here again. In this way, he also expressed the confidence of winning the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in the signal.

On this occasion, the PM gifted the Ken-Betwa link project worth 44 thousand crores to Bundelkhand. This project will irrigate 20 lakh acres of land in Bundelkhand. On this occasion, he said that in the golden age of independence, he is trying to make the country free from poverty and hunger. Many ministers and MPs of Madhya Pradesh including His Excellency Governor Mangubhai Patel, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Virendra Khatik, Prahlad Patel were present in this programme.

PM Modi said that when inspiration and progress join together, the foundation of a new era is laid. Today our country and our Madhya Pradesh are moving forward with this strength. In this sequence, the doubling of the railway track on the Kota-Bina section has also been inaugurated here today. The foundation stone of two important routes on the National Highway was laid. The development works will provide better facilities to the people of Sagar and the surrounding areas.

He said that the foundation of Sant Ravidas Memorial and Museum has been laid at a time when the country has completed 75 years of its independence. Now the next 25 years of Amrit Kaal are in front of us.
