Education has power to change country’s fate: PM Modi
PM Modi said that education has the power to change the fate of the country. Education is very important in taking the country forward. It is a matter of great pleasure for me to be a part of the All India Education Conference. He said that this is the first program after the start of Bharat Mandapam and is happy that it is of education. A message is hidden in this journey of the All India Education Conference, which is of the confluence of antiquity and modernity. Our education system is saving the traditions of India and on the other hand, we are also moving fast in modernity.
He said that today our National Education Policy is completing 3 years. I thank all those who took it as a mission and took it forward. Just saw the exhibition, in which new innovative methods were shown. Met the children, saw how they are learning a lot while playing. When epoch changing changes happen they take some time. Everyone has shown courage to implement the National Education Policy, it gives me happiness. In the National Education Policy, everything from primary education to higher education has been talked about.
Curriculum is being prepared for children
Education will now start from the age of 3. A curriculum has been prepared for children of 3-8 years and is being prepared for the rest. Now all the schools will have one kind of syllabus. Now education is also given in regional languages, so books are in 22 Indian languages. Due to education in mother tongue, the youth are going to get many opportunities. The developed countries of the world have achieved progress due to their language.
