Vande Bharat Trains: PM Modi is going to give the gift of Vande Bharat to two different states today. PM Modi will be on a tour of Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka on 8 and 9 April. Meanwhile, two new Vande will flag off to India. First, he will flag off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express in Hyderabad, besides inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for projects worth over Rs 11,300 crore here. And second, he will flag off the Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express at Chennai Railway Station.
Apart from flagging off the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express in Telangana, he will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for projects worth over Rs 11,300 crore in Telangana. Official sources said that during his visit to Hyderabad, Modi will also attend a public meeting at the parade ground here. He will lay the foundation stone for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bibinagar near Hyderabad and five national highway projects. He will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Secunderabad Railway Station and dedicate other railway related development projects to the nation.
PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of the National Highway Project to be built at a cost of more than Rs 7,850 crore. These roads will pass through Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. After that Modi is scheduled to leave for Tamil Nadu.
Will inaugurate New Terminal at Chennai Airport in Tamil Nadu
PM Modi will reach Chennai airport at around 3 pm. Where he will inaugurate the new terminal. He will then flag off the Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express at Chennai Railway Station in the evening.
