The Indian government has taken the Corona situation seriously. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to review the COVID-19-related situation in the country at a high-level meeting this afternoon.

The meeting comes a day after Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya reviewed the current COVID-19 situation and advised people to wear masks in crowded places, follow COVID guidelines, and get vaccines.

According to official sources, passengers arriving from China and other countries will have to go through random sample testing at airports in order to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus. These steps are taken in view of the spike in COVID cases in China and several other countries.
