PM Modi to inaugurates ‘UP Global Investors Summit 2023’ in Lucknow today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023 in Lucknow on Today. The three-day event is expected to be attended by several Union ministers and a host of leading industrialists.

Ministers and ambassadors from countries like UK, Japan, South Korea, Netherlands, Singapore, Mauritius, Denmark, Australia will attend the summit.

Indian industry leaders including Reliance Industries CMD Mukesh Ambani, Adani Group CMD Gautam Adani, Bajaj Finserv Chairman Sanjeev Bajaj, HCL Chairperson Roshni Nadar, Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran, Chairperson of Technologist and Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra, and many others will participate in the meet.

UK, Japan, South Korea, Netherlands, Singapore, Mauritius, Denmark, Australia, UAE, Italy.
22 Union ministers, three foreign ministers will be included, 10 thousand business leaders, 50 thousand visitors will witness the summit

tight security arrangements

Tight security arrangements have been made for the summit. 24 IPS, 68 PPS and 5415 non-gazetted officers have been deployed. Along with anti-drone system, police and commandos, 13 company PAC and three company Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) have been deployed. ATS spot teams have also been deployed.

In 2018, the Investors Summit was organized here. There were agreements worth 4.68 lakh crores in it. In this summit for the year 2023, a target of MoUs worth Rs 17.12 lakh crore was fixed, but now MoUs worth Rs 25 lakh crore are expected to be signed. This program will end on 12 February. President Draupadi Murmu will be involved in this.
