Ayodhya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to devotees not to visit Ayodhya on January 22 for the grand inauguration of the Ram Temple. Stressing the significance of a hassle-free event, PM Modi assured the public that they can visit the revered site from January 23 onwards.

Diya Lighting Appeal on January 22

PM Modi reiterated, “Ram Mandir is now there forever and ever,” indicating that devotees can offer their prayers at their convenience post the inauguration day.In addition to his appeal, the Prime Minister encouraged every Indian household to light a diya (lamp) on January 22 in honor of the historic occasion.

Ayodhya Gears Up for Grand Inauguration Amidst Preparations

Earlier today, PM Modi inaugurated a new airport and a refurbished railway station in Ayodhya, enhancing connectivity to the sacred city.

Temple Construction Highlights

The construction site of the Ram Temple is bustling with activity as workers use Makrana Marble sourced from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur district and other select stones for the grand edifice.

Distinguished Guests and Workers Invited

The consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22 will witness the presence of approximately 8,000 dignitaries. Additionally, about 15% of the workforce engaged in the temple’s construction will also receive invitations to attend the landmark event.
