PM Modi’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir: PM Narendra Modi is going on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir for the first time in his third term. His tour will begin from Thursday, when he will gift 84 major development projects worth more than Rs 1500 crore to the state. On Friday, the next day of the tour, PM Modi will participate in the program organized on the 10th International Yoga Day in Srinagar.
According to the schedule of PM Modi’s Jammu and Kashmir tour, the PM will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 84 development projects worth more than Rs 1500 crore in Jammu and Kashmir today Thursday (June 20) at around 6 pm. They include projects related to road infrastructure, water supply schemes and infrastructure in higher education. Besides this, he will also launch the Competitiveness Improvement Project in Agriculture and Allied Sectors (JKCIP).
During this time, PM Modi will also inaugurate the Chenani-Patnitop-Nashri section among the day’s programs. The Chenani-Patnitop-Nashri section aims to improve connectivity and facilitate smooth transportation in the region. He will also lay the foundation stone for the development of industrial estates. The construction of 6 government degree colleges will also be given green signal. PM Modi will hand over appointment letters to more than 2000 people selected for various posts in the government service.
On the second day of the tour, i.e. June 21, at 6:30 am, PM Modi will participate in the 10th International Yoga Day Programme. Which will be organized at Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Center (SKICC) in Srinagar. During this, the PM will address the people present in the program. Next, he will join the participants in a Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) session, where he will practice yoga with people.
