Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 'International Dairy Federation World Dairy Conference 2022' today. It will run till 15 September.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be staying in Greater Noida today i.e. on 12th September. In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Noida on Monday, the city’s traffic police has issued an advisory for daily commuters to avoid any disruption in vehicular movement. He will inaugurate the four-day long IDF World Dairy Summit-2022 at the India Expo Center. It will run till 15 September.
The event will begin at 10:30 am at India Expo Center & Mart, Greater Noida. Officials have advised the commuters to plan their journey accordingly. This program is happening in India after almost 50 years. Around 1500 participants from 50 countries are expected to participate in the event. The last such conference was held in 1974. People from all over the world and Indian dairies will participate in this. Apart from this, industry leaders, experts, farmers and policy makers will also participate in the programme.

“Traffic going from Chilla Red Light to Greater Noida via Expressway will be able to go towards its destination via Golchakkar Chowk via Rajnigandha Cheek, Sector 37 from Sector 14A flyover,” Noida Traffic Police said in its detailed advisory. Traffic coming from Sector 37 to DND/Chilla, Sector 37 to Sector 18, Rajnigandha will be able to go to its destination by crossing the chowk, it added.
Let us tell you that The success story of the Indian dairy industry, accounting for about 23 percent of global milk, producing around 210 million tonnes annually, and empowering more than 8 crore dairy farmers, will be showcased at IDF WDS 2022.It said that the summit would also help Indian dairy farmers witness the global best practices. Dairy is the single-largest Agri commodity in India. It contributes 5% to the national economy and employs 80 million dairy farmers directly.
In this program, dairy farmers will also get to know a lot about the world’s best technology, systems etc. Let us tell you that there are a total of 11 halls in the Expo Center, in which many world-class exhibitions related to the dairy industry have also been put up. Different halls are also named after different species of cows. Among them, Gir, Sahiwal and Murra are prominent. The hall in which the Prime Minister will address the Dairy Udyog Mahakumbh is named Gir Hall.
